Weinkle, Tristan D.V.M. Dr. Weinkle, Diplomate American College of Veterinary Internal Medicine, completed his undergraduate and veterinary degrees at Cornell University. He interned at Boston’s Angell Memorial Animal Hospital and returned to Cornell for his internal medicine residency. He joined SCVS in 2003, becoming a partner in internal medicine in 2005. He speaks on regional, national, and international levels and is published in veterinary medicine, virology, and wildlife medicine. His primary interests include immunohematology, liver, and kidney disease. He’s a past president of the Greater Columbia Association of Veterinarians and the treasurer and board member for the American College of Veterinary Internal Medicine Foundation. After Hours: Tristan and his wife Ella, have two beautiful daughters, Naja and Adena, a miniature poodle Lula, a ball python Sudan, and too many fish to count. Biking, gardening, and hiking keep him fit and active.
