Delger, Julie D.V.M. Dr. Delger, Diplomate American College of Veterinary Dermatology and New Orleans native, earned her Doctor of Veterinary Medicine degree from Louisiana State University. She trained further in a small animal internship at Auburn University, followed by a two-year residency in dermatology at North Carolina State University. Board-certified in dermatology in 1993, she began full-time dermatology practice in Columbia. Dr. Delger has spoken at veterinary meetings on the local, state, national, and international levels. She has authored three book chapters and either authored or been interviewed for several journal articles. After Hours: Julie spends time with friends, reading, solving puzzles, and doing counted cross-stitch, which has earned her ribbons at the SC State Fair. She enjoys traveling and sharing her faith with friends at her church. She spends time volunteering with the Boy Scouts of America with her fiancé, who is also a veterinarian. She has two dogs and nine cats, all of whom enjoy watching the local wildlife with Julie.
