  Physical Therapy & Rehabilitation

PTOne word describes Physical Therapy and Rehabilitation Services staff’s desire to help your pet recover following injury or surgery. “Commitment.” And with good reason. Experience reveals that therapy and rehabilitation for orthopedic and neurological patients can be as crucial as surgery itself. Physical Therapy and Rehabilitation Services seek to complete the journey to recovery—the destination we all seek.

Physical Therapy
Physical Therapy services seek to prevent the onset of or treat conditions that affect mobility, due to injury, disease, or other situations. Shaping our treatment approach to your pet’s needs, we use various hands-on techniques to help improve muscle and joint health, flexibility, and lessen pain. The goal is to enhance mobility, improve strength and flexibility, manage pain, and, overall, improve your pet’s quality of life.

Rehabilitation Services
Rehabilitation Services, a relatively new field in veterinary medicine, speeds recovery and lessens pain through services such as water therapy, therapeutic ultrasound, electrical stimulation, and controlled therapeutic exercise. Dedicated rehabilitation services help with outpatient, day hospitalization, or inpatient rehabilitation and therapy. Our rehabilitation area features a pool, underwater treadmill, electrical stimulation, ultrasound, and cold laser as well as coordination and strength training equipment, all effective rehabilitation resources.
